Heather Hanson, MHCI, RN-BC, is Director of Product Management and Innovation at Wellvana, a value-based care enablement company, serving nearly a million patients across 40 states, where she brings a unique blend of clinical and product expertise to the organization’s data and AI strategy. A registered nurse by background with a master’s in healthcare informatics, Heather works across both frontline clinical workflows and system-level strategy, helping practices and health systems design the processes and technology needed to succeed in value-based care.
She currently leads product work on an agentic AI solution supporting Wellvana’s Discharge Care Management and Annual Wellness Visit programs, which integrates via API with Arcadia to streamline documentation and workflows for the nursing team directly within the platform. Heather is passionate about building the trustworthy data foundations needed to power effective analytics, performance improvement, and responsible AI adoption across the healthcare ecosystem.
