David Hall, MMHC, is the Director of Population Health IT at the Vanderbilt Health, where he also leads the Department of Strategy and Planning for HealthIT. A seasoned leader in healthcare technology, David has spent the last seven years implementing IT capabilities to drive data insights across the network, enable care management, elevate patient care and maximize network performance.
David’s career has seen a wide variety of opportunities and success across multiple industries. At Vanderbilt Health, he kicked off his journey by leading the effort to certify their homegrown EHR and achieve Meaningful Use across all Vanderbilt Health hospitals and practices. Prior to this, he was part of the team that designed and deployed the teller system at JP Morgan Chase. He also led designing and implementing a global clinical trial inventory system at pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly. At this year’s user conference, David is excited to connect with peers and share insights on leveraging software solutions to transform complex data into actionable clinical care strategy and make information available across hospitals and practices to improve patient outcomes and network performance.
When he isn’t optimizing technology for his network or leading strategic planning sessions, David can be found playing music or behind the microphone as the PA announcer for his children’s high school sports teams.
